FERAL’s Hollywood Premiere
Dear Diary,
Last night, I finally had a chance to see the final cut of FERAL. While I think I may have been the last people in the cast & crew to see the final cut, I had been out of town/working for all of the pre-release screenings, but I have to say it was worth the wait!
I was so impressed with all of the hard work the crew put in to make this movie so great. The special effects & cinematography made everything that much more amazing. The whole movie looked beautiful! (Scary, but beautiful).

Anyone who knows me well knows that hiking/hanging out in the woods is a bit outside my comfort zone. True to our movie’s premise, we had zero cell phone service when we were filming this movie. As soon as we left base camp, we’d watch our cell phone reception fade into failure as we were driven deep into the woods.
Fortunately for us, we weren’t actually deserted hikers with no way home. Our amazing crew kept us safe from Ferals and rattlesnakes alike. If want to see some badass female characters, great special effects makeup, and some badass lady creature acting (Levi Ashlyn).

My amazing friends Daniel Nguyen, Camille Winbush, Katie Harper, and Dylan Lujano came out to show their support for the IFC Midnight film. We all headed over to Mama Shelter after the screening to celebrate the release!

I was so happy to see the whole FERAL crew in one room together again. Writer/director Mark Young really knocked it out of the park.

I hope he makes a sequel! That said, I’ll probably have to watch it with my hands over my eyes… it’s safe to say that my reluctance to go camping won’t be changing anytime soon.
